How do I setup Newgroups?
Outlook Express
- Launch Outlook Express. On the menu bar at the top, click on the Tools menu and select accounts.
- In Internet Properties, click the News tab at the top.
- In the Internet Accounts window, click on "Add" and then on "News".
- Type in the name you would like on your postings. Click Next.
- Enter your email address (i.e. user@dmv.com, user@bluecrab.org, user@fastol.com) then click Next.
- Enter the correct news (NNTP) server address for your domain: then click Next.

**Exceptions -The following Delmarva Online users should use news.dmv.com as the News (NNTP) Server:
- Delaware users who dial any access number beginning with 424 or 672
- Maryland users who dial any access number beginning with 410 or 1-500
- All Virginia users (1-500)
- Type "DMV News" for the Internet News account name. Click Next.
- Click "Finish" You are now ready to view and post messages to newsgroups!
Netscape 6.x
- In Netscape, open the mail program by clicking on the envelope in the lower left corner.
- Click Edit on the menu bar and select Mail/News account settings.
- Click New Account. Put the dot next to "Newsgroup account" and click Next.
- Enter your name and email address. Click Next.
- Type in "News Account" for the account name. Click Next.
- Enter the correct news (NNTP) server address for your domain: then click Next.
